Due to the ongoing and unstoppable situation with Coronavirus and also by concerning everyone’s different situation, we have made a big decision.
We are no longer requiring patients to provide us the proof of vaccination.
Wearing mask in our clinic is still mandatory.

However, if you have symptoms or exposed to Coronavirus please let us know and reschedule your appointment.
If you really wish to get treatment even you have symptoms, bringing ‘Negative’ resulted in PCR test will allow you to receive treatment.
Also, if you have an antigen test kit, you may bring them and will be able to receive treatment after we have performed the test.
In order to resume treatment, please provide us the proof of ‘Negative’ resulted in PCR or bring an antigen test kit.

We have belief on our patients to communicate with us to protect our organization and community.

Due to rising concerns of the rapid growth of COVID-19 in our Community, we have updated our policy regarding the COVID-19.

If you had any contact with or exposed to someone who has tested positive to COVID-19, Please inform us the following information.
(This includes the ones who do not have symptoms)

- Date of potential contact or exposure

- COVID test result which sample was collected 5 days after the contact or exposure

All new patients must provide us the actual vaccine card (must be at least 14 days after the last dose, exclude booster).

SEPTEMBER 2021

MUST FOLLOW

● Only Patients may enter, all the Guardians must wait outside

● Wear mask all the time when you are in the clinic

● Please minimize and avoid unnecessary conversation

● Take off your used gloves before you enter

All the patient must have one of these for each visit

● Vaccine card (Only who took the vaccine and at least 14days after the last dose)

● ‘Non-detected/ Negative’ COVID 19 test result (7days prior to appointment)

If one of these are not provided, we may ask you to reschedule your appointment

This is due to the order from CDC California guideline.

Double Mask to protect and be secure from COVID

Recent experiment published from CDC shows which mask modification could improve fit of masks and reduce exposure of the virus to reduce COVID transmission and exposure.

Experiments were done in three different scenarios for each modification:

①   No Mask Speaker (Source) / Mask Listener (Receiver)

②   Mask Speaker / No Mask Listener

③   Mask Speaker / Mask Listener

There were three modifications in this experiment (Picture) and the percentage from the result is how much you are secure as a listener (Receiver)

A.   Unknotted medical procedure mask

①.     No Mask Speaker / Mask Listener → 7.5%

②.     Mask Speaker / No Mask Listener → 41.3%

③.     Mask Speaker / Mask Listener → 84.3%

B.    Double Masking (Cloth mask over a medical procedure mask)

①.     No Mask Speaker / Mask Listener → 83%

②.     Mask Speaker / No Mask Listener → 82.2%

③.     Mask Speaker / Mask Listener → 96.4%

C.    Knotted and Tucked masks
(Knotting the ear loops of a medical procedure mask where they attach to the mask’s edges and then tucking in the flattening the extra material close to the face)

①.     No Mask Speaker / Mask Listener → 64.5%

②.     Mask Speaker / No Mask Listener →62.9%

③.     Mask Speaker / Mask Listener →95.9%

Underline with the fact that wearing a mask as a both speaker and listener is necessary and recommended, the experiment shows double masking is the best way to be secured from virus with 96.4%. Knotted and tucked masks came next with 95.9% secure. If you have a cloth mask and medical procedure masks, please make sure you are cleaning or changing it often. And hanging the mask when you are not using them is recommended because it can be well ventilated.

In short, double masking can secure yourself and other from virus with the highest percentage. So if you have a cloth mask and medical mask, make sure you use both of them to protect and to be protected.

COVID Negative Result Required

Due to the current situation, we have changed added policy.

We are asking all the new patients and patients who have not visited our clinic more than one month to provide us a COVID-19 test Negative result to make an appointment. The COVID-19 test result should be taken or dated 30 days prior to your appointment date.

If you have a recent test result, please send us your Negative result before making appointment to our clinic by email, lomaclinic90020@gmail.com, or fax 213-385-5318.
